Andrea Cianci Fenn, Oil Painter/Draftsman

Andrea graduated the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in 2005 and now works from her Connecticut studio supported by exhibition, commission and teaching. Her primary historical inspiration has been William Bouguereau and John Singer Sargent, as well as the impact from extensive study with master draftsman, Dean G. Keller, at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts.

“I believe there is a life force and energy of expression in everyone that is capable of translation into action and creativity that, if not explored, will never exist in any form or through anyone else's hand." My creative expression is realized through representational figure drawing and portraiture, with an emphasis on sharing my dedication and knowledge in this genre with those who are interested in the concepts and practices of traditional artistic representation.”

Andrea is a member of the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, Connecticut Women Artists, Inc., Farmington Valley Arts Center and the Lyme Art Association, Lyme CT.
